This yearly beach clean-up coordinates volunteers to tidy up 28 beaches from San Simeon to the Oceano Dunes, keeping the beautiful sands surrounding Pismo Beach in pristine condition. Though the Central Coast beaches are cleaner than most, nearly 2,800 pounds of trash and recyclables were removed from SLO County beaches and creeks in 2012. Sign up for your beach site online.
