SLO Much Wine, So Little Time: SLO Coast County Wine Country is Waiting for You

If you’ve been to SLO County, you know we’ve got great wine. What you might not know is from the SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel in Pismo, there are more than two dozen wineries within about a 20 minute drive or less. (Here’s a fairly comprehensive map.)
That’s a LOT of wine to cover.

Luckily, our friends over at SLOWine.com have broken out the SLO Coast wine country into some doable ‘trails’ that you can cover comfortably in a single visit.

Avila Valley

Our coastal neighbor, the Avila Valley, gives you the perfect combination of beach, vineyards, and wineries. If you’ve come for the beach and still want the wine country experience, this is your destination.

A little further to the east, still just a short drive from Pismo Beach, are the scenic back roads of Orcutt Road and Corbett Canyon. Here you’ll find a handful of excellent wineries for your adventurous spirit, including Baileyana, Center of Effort, Chamisal Vineyards, Chene Vineyards, Kynsi Winery, and Wolff Vineyards.
