Bishop Peak Trail from Highland Drive – 3.7 miles roundtrip

The highest of SLO County’s Nine Sisters, Bishop’s Peak has been featured in a number of destination magazines, including Conde Nast’s Traveler as one of the top hikes you can do without being a pro. The peak is the centerpiece of the Bishop Peak Nature Reserve. Access the trails from either Patricia Drive or Highland Drive. If you’re feeling fresh at the top, enjoy a little rock scramble for spectacular views of the entire San Luis Obispo area.
